Friday's Fab Five - From Tribal to St. Tropez

What is luxury? The definition is all relative we're sure... but one thing is for certain, when it comes to luxury, jewelry and adornment of kind are usually synonomous with the word cross culturally.

From "resort wear" to every day wear, we're seeing a lot of luxurious pieces inspired by ethnic expression. These jewelry picks say a few different things...sophistication, emotion, artistic indulgence, ethnic tradition to name a few.

This Friday's Fab Five is inspired by the many pieces we're seeing come to surface with inspirations that take inspirations from tribal to St. Tropez and maybe some other places inbetween.

It is sort of ironic indeed how these two inspirations have merged into a kind of convergent accessory trend for Spring/Summer 2011. On one hand you have St. Tropez, located on the French Riviera, home to famous super models, millionares, jetsetters and the like - and on the other, the raw beauty of tribal influences from relatively minimalist societies in Africa and South America. ...both influences equality attributable to this season's luxurious accessorizing "look."
