About Melis* Elizabeth
Hey there!
I'm Melis* Elizabeth and yes, formally my name is Melissa. I've been blogging and working on learning all thing the internet space since about 2008. (That is of course if you don't count my adolescence foraying into AOL chatrooms when we got our first computer when I was about 12 years old - If you do count that I've been trying to contribute to this online space since the late 90s!)
Yes, I'm ever so slightly older than a "millennials", depending on which chart you're going by. I didn't grow up with computers, smartphones or iPads in my crib, that's for sure. I had a typewriter at some point!
Journeying into the internet space and working to morph along with it has always been interesting. I've always been passionate about the positive potential of the online space to help us connect with others, share information and learn more.
Around 2010 I started to venture into the world e-commerce, blogging, online marketing and content creation. I've been learning ever since. I'm always looking for new avenues by which to share what I've picked up along the way to try to empower others. I'm also always looking for new ways to connect, have a fun time and just express myself and share some little pieces of my world... anything in life from fun finds, travels, food, and an eclectic mix that is me.
I write this blog for others that are perhaps hoping to do the same.
I've come to believe that everyone (and I mean everyone) deserves to be aware of the creator economy and their opportunities within it, and I aim to not only share myself and my world here but also some tidbits, tips and tricks for others who want to share but may not be sure just how to get started.
I hope you enjoy this blog!
- Melissa (Melis* Elizabeth),
