Kate Bosworth and Celebrity Stylist Cher Couter Dream up Jewelmint: Designer Spotlight

Kate Bosworth and Cher Couter's new jewelery collection and eponymous web concept are probably the hottest new thing in the fashion jewelry world you don't know about about yet. As seen in InStyle, BlackBook, People, TechCrunch and more, this celebrity duo is bringing a new type of jewelry brand to the spotlight.
Not just another celebrity collection, Jewelmint is based on an interesting (and somewhat tempting we might add) concept. Once you buy your first piece of jewelry for 29.99 on Jewelmint, you become an "exclusive member" who will receive the ability to purchase more pieces at 29.99 each month as well as member updates, style tips, and recommendations. You will then be presented with new selections on the first of each month. By the 5th of the month you'll have to choose to skip the month or purchase your piece of jewelry for 29.99 that month with free shipping.
Before purchasing your first piece of jewelry, you'll be asked questions like "What would you wear to the Oscars?" and "Which of these shoes would you choose?" in the now ever so popular style profile/assessment format. Don't worry kids, it's all multiple choice. Jewelmint will use this assessment to choose your suggested piece of jewelry for the month (in your "showroom"). Unlike other style quizzes online including those on major sites, I'll have to say Jewelment's assessment process achieved pretty accurate results for me (better thought out algorithms apparently).
...So what really "works" about Jewelrymint? Well the designs are about every bit as effortless chic as Kate Bosworth herself, and anyone who has seen 21 or any of her other movies knows that's pretty cool/chic. Kate seems to have that rare style that women both young and older can relate and aspire to, so we're going to say her modeling each piece of jewelry on the site is a company win. With an easy to use website, Jewelmint does indeed give you a tempting way to spice up your month.
Just be prepared social media users, as this website is "hooked up." If you don't care to have your boyfriend know you're purchasing fashion jewelry monthly, you might want to be mindful about how this application connects to and posts to your Facebook! When I logged on, I was actually able to see that at least two of my (some 500) facebook friends (who shall remain anonymous), have already signed up with Jewelmint...yes, seriously.
