Biltmore Estate to Host Tiffany Exhibit in Summer 2011

The world famous Biltmore estate, popularly known for being among the largest residential properties in the United States, will pair up with arguably the most loved luxury good manufactuer in the United States. Both establishments rich in history and historically intertwined are together again at last.

The exhibit, which has been entitled "Tiffany at Biltmore” will be on display July 1-Oct. 23 in the Biltmore Legacy exhibition hall, in the Antler Hill Village visitor area.

Visitors will enjoy a rare public viewing of 45 rare Tiffany stained glass lamps. The lamps will arrive at the estate on loan from the Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass in New York City.

According to the Ashville Citizen times, The lamps will be shown alongside three stained glass windows that were once installed at the home of New York home of William H. Vanderbilt, father of Biltmore founder George Vanderbilt.
