Helzberg Diamonds Partners with Dorothy Hamill to Launch Charity Jewelry Collection
The fashion industry has seen some extremely interesting and creative partnerships this past year. One of the latest includes a collaboration between Olympic figure skater Dorothy Hamill and high end jewelry giant Helzberg Diamonds.
A recent press release has reported that the skater, who is also a breast cancer survivor, decided to work with Helzberg to create (a pretty cute) diamond jewelry line that will help to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
These are darling little pieces, but buyer beware - although the pieces will run you between $80 and $2000 dollars, bear in mind that only $5 from each sale is being donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Helzberg is guaranteeing a minimun donation of $100,000.
The new collection is called "Love, Help, and Hope by Dorothy Hamill" and can be purchased through your local Helzberg shop or by viewing http://www.helzberg.com/. The pieces are 14-karat white gold studded wtih diamonds and pink sapphires. The collection also includes two tone sterling silver and 14-karat gold pendants, rings, and even earrings.
