Kaity's Finds: Holistic Gemstone Healing

For centuries people have believed in the power of crystals in order to help facilitate well being both physically and mentally.  The earliest records of crystal healing have been traced back to Ancient Egypt. India’s Ayurvedic records and traditional Chinese medicine also state claim to the healing properties of crystls, dating back to 5000 years ago. When I discovered this about three years ago, I decided to check it out.

At first I thought the whole notion of "rocks curing ailments" a bit silly. I continued my research and read more and more testimonies. As I did this my mind opened to the fact that these "rocks" actually may be more than just beautiful stones placed in jewelry.

During this time I suffered from extreme anxiety and depression. I was on about six different medications and was at my wits end when it came to getting better. Nothing was helping so I figured "What the hell?" and really began to delve myself into the world of crystal healing. My collection of crystals expanded like wildfire, as did my jewelry. The more I worked with my crystals I realized that my anxiety had started to lessen and my mood swings began to stabilize. I was by no means "cured", but I was able to knock four medications out of a "crazy med" cocktail.

There is a great website I found that sells many varieties of jewelry, clothing, accessories, and merchandise. The reason this website  is so special to me is because their proceeds go directly to help world hunger, breast cancer, child health, literacy, save the rainforest, and animal rescue.

Happily, I was able to find beautiful jewelry on the site that was made with my favorite stones I most connect with.

Wow, I think you've named all the crazy treasure I used to get playing video games back in the day; like castlevania. Never knew what they were until now.
