Picnic Love: Jewelry for the Fourth Made Simple

Whether you're kicking off the first few weeks of summer in the Hamptons or Boise, Idaho what to wear to that inevitable Fourth of July picnic is probably on your mind.  Chances are things won't be too formal, but let's face it, drawing the line between between over dressed and under dressed at these sorts of affairs can be tricky.  Jewelry is always a great solution to this dillemma.  Sure, I know you are tempted to go without due to the 90 degree weather or maybe you fear that jewelry is always "too-much" for a picnic.  Resist the sans jewelry urge and you won't regret it!  The trick is to keep it simple.  You can take shorts and a tank from dumpy to above it all cool-casual with just two simple pieces of jewelry.  Going with either earrings and a bracelet, or earrings and a necklace ensures that you never have too many pieces on!  I prefer to even keep the earrings as simple as a stud on picnic days.  Save the over sized art pieces and hoops for serious resort wear!  Here are a few simple picks for earring/bracelet combos.  You likely have something in your collection already like these pieces...so throw on shorts and a tank, pop on your two pieces and you're ready to go worry free!  Don't waste any more time..you need to get to the "right" bowl of potato salad before everybody else does!
