Jewelry for Weekend Wanderers...

Are big pink hearts too girly
for those of us over 20? Hmm...nah.
Jewelry Dose Daily is always trying to think of new ways to reward readers!  ...and we know how hard it is to to play on the internet when you're not at work (wait, what??!).  For those of you who do, this is for you.  I'll give away a pair of cute swarovski crystal earrings to the first two weekend readers to answer these questions in the comment box!

Lately I have been really into wire wrapping. It's just so beautiful and the gems give it such an earthy feel. I just stumbled upon this website featuring a lot of wire wrapped jewelry.

Right now I'm really digging my single strand citrine and carnelian necklaces. They were about $4 each at this place called "Cha Cha Gifts" in the Quakerbridge Mall.


What will be playing in your car this weekend?:

Well my dad just gave me a bunch of old mixed tapes he found that I have been listening to. I only have a tape cassette player in my car haha. I think I will listen to his Elvis Costello tapes today!

I LOVE Cha Cha Gifts too Kaity! How great is that store? I spent way too long in there the other day, but need to go back! I only had a tape player in my car for the longest time...I do admit there are times I miss it! ...and also, I will send you some earrings! Thanks for checking this out!

-and also, I love wire wrapping too! At some point, I'll have to put some of my pieces on the site. Monday we are going to The Earring Style Book launch.. which is fun because they have some unique takes on wire wrapped earrings in there!

oh, nice! i would LOVE to see some of your wire wraps. cha cha gifts is THE BOMB. i can spend hours in there. and that HUGE amethyst crystal formation they have in there is so gorgeous. i think they had a fountain made of a giant crystal too. i cant remember haha.

thank you so much for the earrings!!! i love the other ones you gave me, i wear them all the time. i need to get some photos of me wearing them so i can put them on facebook and give you mad creds! hahah <3

Thanks so much Kaity! I will eventually get wire wrap pics up. Honest to goodness whenever Brian and I make it, people snag it right away before I ever get to take pictures! I'll have to work on it. Also, I'll get those earrings out to you! Let me know if you do get a pic! That would be awesome! I know people will love it!
