So forgive us for thinking this is all Ke$ha's fault.  Sure, we've never seen her wear any dental jewelry, but we feel like it's something we just happened to miss.  She'd be the type to snarkily rock dental bling for sure. (oh shiz look at this: http://www.chacha.com/question/what-is-on-kesha's-tooth-in-the-my-first-kiss-video).  Are we good or are we good?  Anyway, dental jewelry has been gaining some momentum in popularity lately and we aren't just talking about the usual permanently implanted gold tooth.  Aside from being able to have a diamond bonded to your teeth permanently now, less expensive temporary versions of tooth bling are becoming popular...and why wouldn't they?  Hey, it's a tough economy.  These "tooth gems" remind us of the stick on earrings we used to be able to buy by the sheet at the Five and Dime.  Men and woman are apparently adorning their teeth with inexpensive lucite or glass gems as well as Swarovski crystals.  Surprisingly enough, there isn't just one company providing this look.  You can take your pick of tooth jewels from several retailers on the web including http://www.decodent.com/ and http://www.toothjewelry.com/.  Dentists are even getting in on the action.  According to Specialist Dental Clinic tooth jewelry "is the latest craze." "Just come in for a fitting."  Of course they're offering the more permanent option.  For now, I think I'll stick to broccoli.  It's a bit cheaper.
